About training

1. Can I choose any one of the technology streams?
Yes, we are providing training on C++, J2EE, .Net, SQL/PL-SQL technologies. You can choose any one of them.

2. I already know Java. Can I attend the training? How is it going to help me?
Yes knowing Java is certainly an advantage for you. In our training we will cover complete J2EE technology in depth & particularly from a real-project-perspective. Thus you can upgrade your knowledge to a professional grade.

3. I already got certified training from Sun / MS. How will your training help me?
Which level have you got certified. If SCJP / MCSD then I suggest you go through our training as well, as it will train on complete enterprise technology. We also train on project development with lots of value addition, so please attend the training to get a complete J2EE orientation and development knowledge, which will also help you to sit for further Sun certifications.

4. Which topics are covered in the syllabus (each stream)?

KISL's training is conducted by professional software developers. The stress is on maximum exposure to real-life project situations. As a Multinational Company, we have trainers from different countries. Foreign Trainers with good exposure to Malaysian scenario are carefully selected. Fresh graduates should understand that today software development, even in MSC Malaysia status companies involves professionals from different countries & hence this could be good background for fresh graduates. Training in Bahasa Melayu is not available right now.

7. How many hrs theory & practical?
This depends on the technology stream and the modules within. For details, please contact us for a discussion.

8. Will you provide real-time project? What type of project? Short term or long term?
Yes, there will be project assignments as a part of the training program. All of these projects are drawn from real project deliveries. For specifics of the project & technology stream, you may please contact us.

9. Will you provide training materials? Softcopy/hardcopy/CD?
Training material includes documents, CDs, as well as reference web-sites. All trainees will be provided access to these training materials.

10. Will you provide any certificate? – Will it be authorized by MDeC?
Yes, Training completion certificate will be provided

11. Can the training programme be customized to suit our needs – For e.g. can you include Web-services and SOAP or usage of IBM Technologies in the schedule?
Basic structure of the training has been carefully put together by a technical committee of MDeC. Therefore the training will be conducted as per MDeC stipulation. However, reasonable extensions can be considered on a case-to-case basis.

12. What is the timing? Do you have evening/week-end batches?
To start with, the training is during week-days and regular working hours. However if you have got a requirement for evening / week-end training, please talk to us & we will come up with a program based on sufficient number of trainees.

Job

1. Will you provide a job?
One of the main objectives is to significantly improve the job fitment of the trainees. This is achieved by (a) real projects-based training methodology (b) strong pre-employment counseling and (c) post-training placement services. However the chances of a job finally depend upon the employer & the performance of the trainee.

2. Will you arrange for interviews?
Our placement services will assist trainees apply for suitable positions with prospective employers.

3. Will you prepare me for interviews?
Yes, as a part of the training program trainees will be coached on tests & interviews conducted by organizations.

4. What if I have doubts after the training programme – whom should I contact?
